"I was mailed a large bill due to a previous auto insurance, without receiving any phone call. This occurred when I changed insurance carriers & decided on State Farm Insurance, but I didn't notify prior carrier that I was changing. So, I received the bill, ignored it, the next thing it was sent to a collection company. They called me numerous times, not leaving any messages & I was going to arrange to have them blocked. Then I received their collection notice. I was caught off guard, not realizing to contact previous auto insurance carrier. So, Pam, an agent from Jason Griswold State Farm Insurance graciously sent them a copy of being covered by State Farm. They immediately cancelled the excessive fine.
